The governing bodies of the association are the General Assembly and the President. The General Assembly is the supreme body of the organization, composed of the active members. The President is elected by the General Assembly during an extraordinary meeting. Following the Extraordinary General Assembly of Associates on the 14th of December 2014 the President was elected unanimously. He will stay in office for three years from the date of his registration in the Public Registry. The following was confirmed:

Willem H.M. van Immerzeel - PresidentDutch, MSc in agricultural engineering from the University of Wageningen, and working in the field of rural development since 1981, in different projects. Has worked in countries such as Guinea Bissau, Bangladesh, Peru, Nicaragua, and others. Designed and implemented the Pachamama Raymi methodology in PRODERM. Worked as project manager, consultor, etc. He has implemented the Pachamama Raymi methodology in many projects. He currently is the Honorary Consul of the Netherlands in Cusco.
Humberto van der Zel - Vice-PresidentDutch, agronomical engineer with forty years of experience in international cooperation projects related to the management of renewable natural resources and rural development. He has been involved with the Pachamama Raymi methodology since the beginning, when the methodology was born in the PRODERM project (a cooperation between the Netherlands and the European Union) at the end of the 1980s. In his capacity as director of projects of the European Commission, he applied the methodology in Guatemala and Chili. Currently, Humberto van der Zel is the president of DEXCEL International.
Piet van Driel - TreasurerDutch, agricultural engineer (Wageningen, The Netherlands). Has been working for the international cooperation in Latin America since 1978 (mainly in Peru and Paraguay) in the formulation and realization of rural development projects based on sustainable socio-economical-environmental development and focused on protagonism, the initiatives and development of the capacities of rural families. Among others he was the head of a post-earthquake reconstruction and rehabilitation project in 2007. During this project, he hired the non-profit organization Pachamama Raymi, which achieved that rural families were able to restore productive agricultural processes in record time. These families expressed their satisfaction in the final external evaluation with a score of 17 out of 20.
Jesús Astete VeriaPeruvian, economist with a specialization in Research Methodologies and Applied Statistics from ULB-Brussels. Consultant with more than 20 years of working experience in development projects, for European cooperation agencies (KfW, FIDA, Cordaid, European Union, TdH Suiza, among others) and a number of local and international non-profit organizations. Specialist in impact studies, institutional and project evaluations and socio-economic research. Advisor of institutional strengthening of projects and policies for sustainable human development. University Professor.
Antoine BriotFrench and Peruvian, cameraman. Worked for 13 years in France in fiction: documentary and advertising. He settled in Peru in 2004. As part of his profession he has had several opportunities to spend time with farmers in South America and Africa, mostly in the area of Paucartambo.
Fausto Salinas LovónPeruvian, lawyer, founding parter of the Salinas and Tamayo Lawyer Study, which has offices in various cities in Peru. He was the president of the Chamber of Commerce in Cusco. He was head of the Legal Department and Director of Consulting at the Center of Regional Andean studies “Bartolomé de las Casas” 1992-1996. He was an associated professor at the Judicial Academy – Seated in Cusco, Assessor Ad Honorem of the Ejective Presidency of CTAR Cusco during the transitional government of 2000-2001. He has acted as the Director of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services, Tourism and the Production of Cusco (2003-200$) and as the President of this institutions during the period of 2005-2006. He was Vice-President of the Municipality of Cusco and Vice-President of PERUCAMARAS. He is the President of the Council of Arbitration of the Chamber of Commerce in Cusco.

Toribio HuillcaPeruvian. Has been coordinator of Pachamama Raymi projects in different districts, in the departments of Huancavelica and Cusco. He is the candidate to become the coordinator of the Pachamama Raymi project in Tanzania. He was the president of the Civil Association of the Biosphere Reserve in Manu.
