Our main donors
Pachamama Raymi promotes sustainable rural development with the financing from international cooperations, and individual and private donors. Our main private donors are the Peer Learning Foundation from the Netherlands (“Stichting Leren van Elkaar”) and The Greer Foundation from the USA.
“The people are motived to thrive, in the short term as well as in the long term. And this is exactly how we work with them to achieve human development. We address the problems of today in order to create perspectives for tomorrow”. Jan van Zijl, President of the council of the vocational education community college and president of the Peer Learning Foundation.
The Peer Learnin Foundation ("Stichting Leren van Elkaar") is a civil association based in the Netherlands, led by Mr. Piet Romein, a Dutch entrepreneur with a successful career in the Shell corporation for more than 20 years. Piet decided to dedicate himself to the development of rural populations affected by poverty. During a trip to Peru in 2005, he learned about the Pachamama Raymi methodology. Since then he became a strategic partner in the task of eradicating poverty in the rural communities of Peru.
The Greer Foundation is an institution based in the United States of America, headed by Mr. Carl C. Greer; entrepreneur, clinical psychologist and Jungian analyst. In one of his visits to Peru, he was impressed by how the Pachamama Raymi methodology changes the lives of people, so he decided to allocate funds to support projects in Peru through his Foundation.
